キャラをじっくり育てながら広い世界を冒険する――。
そんなSTGがあってもいいじゃないか!!
…というのがこのゲームのコンセプト。

多数の仲間とウェポンを集め、広大な世界を巡り、
戦争ばかりで日々傾いていく環境と世界を救ってください。

同じリーサルオペレーションの「レイ編」と比べ
アクションRPG寄りにバランス調整がされています。

ブレイクによって大多数の弾を消しやすく
レベルと装備でどんどん防御性能が上がるので
STGが苦手な人でも毎秒100発撃ってくるような凶悪ボスを
間違いなく倒せるようになります!

一言で言えば「STGのシステムでARPG」
ARPGのフィールドと拠点を意識した構造のステージを行き来しつ自機を鍛えて、世界に点在する壊れかけの先代惑星再生機構を修復するべく戦おう
STGとしてみると地形・弾幕複合型、自機体力制(+最大4機チーム)
主人公を初めとする自機にはHP・ATK・DEFなど能力値があり、累積スコアを経験値として能力上昇していく
この自機に弾道・弾数・威力・特殊効果とさまざまな能力を持つ武装を最大3種(+ボム)組み合わせて、好きなスタイルで戦うことが出来る
ヒットした敵の弾をエネルギーに転換する「ブレイク」属性装備を使えば、ボス弾幕も低減あるいは無力化できるので弾幕苦手な人にもお勧め
スコアと別に入手する資金で味方を雇えば最大4機のチームを組むことが出来、ステージ中任意に切り替えて進むことが可能
ステージごとに5種(+α)設定されたオペレーション(クリア付加条件)をクリアすればボーナスコアのほか初回クリア限定でアイテムや味方を得られる
中には早々達成できないものもあるので、コンプを目指すなら相当の修練が必要
なお、ストーリーは別売のレイ編の裏側に当たる部分があるので両方買って
見るのもおすめ

Lethal Operation Rugita is a sidescroling shoter with somewhat RPG bent. Characters have levels which governs damage dealt and received, so this a bulet hel game for people who can’t play them like bulet hel games are suposed to be played. (ie. avoiding screnfuls of bulets)
Simply put, grind enough and any stage wil becomeasy eventualy. And almost al stages can be replayed indefinitely.
And this game does have replayability. Stages have achievements, whether it is complete in a setime, kil a certainumber of enemies, or true to bulet hel games, not get hit. This rewards coming back to earlier stages for completion’sake, and certain stages’ achievementsimply canot be completed in a single run.
Furthermore, atacks of the characters can be customized in RPG equipment style. The variety of diferent mechanics, from lock on, mele atacks, homing and lasers and even sumoning helpers, with a combination of atributes like break or dash, ad a very welcome variety. Equiping characters with various weapons actualy plays and fels diferent.
Story-wise, it is a light comedy despite the save the world mision the main character is on. While some might find the art style of the characters amateurish, the clean lines of the characters ad to their simple charm. Rugita’s expresions in particularendearing in her mischievousnes, exasperation and honest hapines.
Interesting characters and a bright comedic tone wil atimes bring smiles, although not quite laugh out loud or cuting edge witines. And while the story doesn’treat itself seriously, the combination of light-hearted comedy and a wacky humor make it a strong ofering.
Overal, Lethal Operation Rugita is a polished game that makes others pale in comparison. An easy recomendation.
