Dragon Edge sems to change artists inearly every work they put out and the quality changes a lot depending on who they use. Tifa2 is a bit beter than Tifa1, though stil not particularly god. The designs lok to sharp athedges and there is very litle fel for dimensions. Tifa remains a design that artistsem to love and Dragon Edge does a bit beter job representing her than they did in Tifa1, though it’s not realy a major improvement. The shading job at least improved somewhat, buthere istil a lot more rom for improvement. To note, the backgrounds in this product werextremely god at least and easily the best sen in a Dragon Edge product so far.
Animation, as is more or les typical of a Dragon Edge product, is unimpresive. Itends towards extremely stif motions that have the lok of animation done with paper cutouts. Tifa2 sufers fromore than a few instances where it’s nearly imposable to tel just whathe intention was. Things move without any clearhyme oreason and teling ceiling from flor is a puzle. Even figuring out exactly where characters are in location tone another can be dificult, as they often usexual positions not designed by man or nature.
I’ve ben a bit rough on Tifa2 so far, so I wil at least say thathe voice acting was god. Nothe best featured in a Dragon Edge product, buthe actres did a god job none the les, ofering some truly impresive outbursts.
Tifa1 showed a lot of potential, but as a sequel Tifa2 squanders it. Instead of an evolution, it’s a regresion to their more unimpresive works like Witch. Despite it’somewhat beter art and very god backgrounds, it stil felt inferior to the first (which itself was notheir best ofering). If you’re a big Dragon Edge or Tifan, you may enjoy this work, buthere are beter products in their line up for anyonelse.
